We originally booked for 3 nights but ended up extending our stay to 7 nights because we were having such a great time. the owner, Zac, and his family in the bakery were incredibly friendly and helpful. the hostel is conveniently located near the pier and the main street with restaurants and minimarkets. We enjoyed the delicious and free breakfast at the bakery, which served amazing bread, banana muffins, and brownies. the hostel also made it easy to meet other travelers, making our experience even more enjoyable. the proximity to both the east and west side beaches was a major plus. We loved swimming at Charlie beach and even rented kayaks to explore the stunning emerald cave.
Cons: Nothing to fault.

We had a delightful stay at a charming family-run hostel on Koh Mook. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic, and the owner, Sak, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Plus, the free taxi ride to the beach was a great perk. highly recommended!

My stay at this hostel in Koh Mook was absolutely fantastic! I stayed for 7 nights and could have stayed even longer. The owner, Zac, and his family were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hostel is in a great location, close to the pier and main street with restaurants and shops. The free breakfast at the nearby bakery was delicious, and the homemade bread was outstanding. The hostel is clean and has a comfortable mixed dorm with privacy curtains. The AC in the rooms is always on, perfect for afternoon naps. a beautiful island and a beautiful experience.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a hostel in Koh Mook for my vacation and I had a wonderful time. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They even took me to the ferry pier on a motorbike in the morning. The atmosphere was relaxing and I ended up extending my stay twice. The hostel had a great common area where I could meet other travelers and we even organized joint treks. The location was perfect, close to Sivalai beach and the main town services. a fantastic experience and I would definitely stay here again!
I strongly recommend this hotel.

Fresh bread made at the bakery served with every breakfast. Coffee and tea available at all times. Delicious cookies also available at all times. Fan room is just as nice as AC room. Tickets and tours can be bought at very affordable rates. Kindly picked up from the pier and taken to the beautiful beach twice during the stay. Allowed to check in before check-in time and choose our beds. Friendly staff who spoke great English. Laundry was handed in upon arrival and returned the next morning. Owner provided free transportation to a nearby bar. Packed egg sandwiches and bananas for take away when in a hurry. Overall excellent experience at a great price
Felt very lucky, nothing was too much trouble

Clean, comfy beds with nice breakfast at nearby restaurant. Spacious cold shower. Family-owned, no pressure to buy tours. Owner provides free island rides. Reasonably priced bakery with professional cakes. Close to beautiful, less crowded beach and restaurant/bar. Helpful owner, drove us for free. Basic dorms with curtains. Delicious pancakes. Cute and comfortable room with lots of space. Lovely and helpful owners. Free rides on tuk tuk. New, clean, massive showers and toilets. Great included breakfast with choice of eggs and amazing bread.

This hostel was absolutely mind-blowing! The location was perfect, with a beautiful, less crowded beach just a stone's throw away, and a fantastic restaurant/bar right on the beach. The owner was super helpful and went above and beyond, even driving us wherever we wanted to go for free! He was incredibly caring and attentive when my friend fell ill. The dorms were basic, but the curtains around the beds added a nice touch of privacy. The breakfast was out of this world, especially the pancakes! And let's not forget about the delicious cakes and muffins from the bakery that was conveniently part of the hostel. The beds were comfortable and had enough space for all our stuff. The separate light and fan for each bunk was a great feature. The owner also provided towels and blankets upon request, at no cost. And to top it all off, the owner even gave us a free ride to our next accommodation. This hostel truly made us feel like family and not just tourists. Oh, and did I mention the free tea, coffee, and water refills? Wow! This place is definitely a must-stay and is highly recommended!

Great location, close to the main street but still in a quiet area. Comfy bed for a good night's sleep. Enjoyed the breakfast, especially the homemade bread.
Uncomfortable common area, everyone just stays in their beds. Dirty kitchen facilities that are not usable.

I had a fantastic stay at the hostel on Koh Mook. The owner was incredibly friendly and even gave me a free ride to Charlie beach. The breakfast at the bakery owned by the owner's sister was absolutely delicious, and it was conveniently located right across the hostel. The hostel itself was clean and cozy, and I had a great time meeting other travelers. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the main street with restaurants and shops. I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and enjoyable experience on Koh Mook.

The hostel had a great vibe and good facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, especially the bakery and restaurant. I appreciated the privacy curtains around the beds in the dorm room. The common spaces were spacious and perfect for socializing without disturbing anyone's sleep. The location was very convenient.
The water drain in the shower could be improved. Other than that, everything was great.
